Sources report that the CBI registered a case on Sunday regarding claims of irregularities in NEET-UG 2024. 

Allegations of Irregularities in NEET-UG 2024 

The CBI promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) and launched a multi-pronged investigation into the alleged irregularities.

CBI Registers FIR and Launches Probe 

The CBI investigation is ongoing, and its findings will determine the next steps for the NEET-UG 2024 exam. There's a possibility of re-examination for affected students or stricter regulations for future exams. 

What's Next for NEET-UG 2024? 

On May 5, the NEET-UG exam took place at 4,750 centres nationwide, with approximately 24 lakh candidates participating. 

The results were revealed on June 4, ten days earlier than anticipated, and shortly after, reports surfaced of a NEET-UG paper leak in Bihar. 

Seven individuals, including four candidates, were arrested by Patna Police in relation to the case.
