NEET UG and UGC NET June 2024 Re-Exam Witnessed Lower Than Expected Turnout
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released live updates on the attendance for today’s NEET UG and UGC NET June 2024 re-examination. The re-exam was necessitated due to alleged irregularities in the original exam held in May 2024.
Out of the 1563 candidates eligible for the re-exam, only 813 appeared for the test today. This translates to an attendance rate of around 52%. The reasons for the lower than expected turnout are not yet known. Some candidates may have chosen not to reappear for the exam, while others may have faced logistical challenges.
The NTA is expected to release the official results of the re-exam by June 30th, 2024. These scores will be used for determining eligibility for medical and higher education programs in India.
