Buddhadeb Bhattacharya net worth is around 10 Lakhs. Like other politicians, he does not have any special bank balance, car, or luxury house. He has only an old house. He passed away on 8 August 2024, in the morning at around 8 am.
His income source was his CM post. He lived in a simple old house at Palm Avenue Kolkata. His room was also not so highly decorated. There were only books in racks and his bed in Buddhadeb Bhattacharya‘s living room.
He lived one very simple lifestyle with his beloved wife. There was only his wife with him in his house. No servant was there in his house. He refused the Padmabhusan Award in 2022. CM Mamata Banerjee offered him to move to a new flat but he refused.
He also had a car but this was from govt of WB. This is not an expensive car like Fortuner or Scorpio. This was an old ambassador. He never chose a luxurious life. His car number was WB – 06 – 0002 and this car number plate is labeled Govt Of WB.
The most important part about Buddhadeb Bhattacharya is he also donated his body for medical research. He was an incredible example of a politician. All positions should learn from him.
